It's such a pleasure to be back in the Welch community. A large amount of the experiences and memories that I cherish as a child and young adult all revolve around the Welch School System and the Welch community. Growing up in a small community where your parent's friends were like your second family, and your neighbors treated you like one of their own, are the experiences that you want for your own children.

Returning to the Welch School System, I see these same experiences continuing for the students at our elementary school. It is such a good feeling to see a community pull together to do the best for all the children in our school. The dedication, support, cooperation, and pride that are exhibited in our patrons, parents, and students are what make the Welch Elementary School a pleasure. The faculty, staff, administration, and patrons have made me feel right at home. Working with such a dedicated faculty that truly cares for each of their students as one of their own reminds me of my elementary teachers here at Welch.

The Welch Elementary School is a second home for most of our students and we want their experiences to be ones that they will cherish forever. Therefore, our mission is to provide each and every student with a positive, safe, and outstanding educational experience. Times have changed; however, the devotion and values of the Welch School System haven't changed. We hope to continue these traditions and pass them on to our elementary students making each of their elementary, educational experiences the best possible.
