I graduated from Quapaw High School and then attended NEO at Miami and NSU in Tahlequah. After attending NEO, I graduated from NSU with an Elementary Education degree and a Middle School English endorsement. I then returned to college and received an Early Childhood Certification. I taught kindergarten in Miami, Ok for 10 years before coming to Welch in 2005. I taught kindergarten for 3 years and then moved to Preschool for 5 years and then moved to Middle School English/Language Arts for 8 years. I returned to college to earn a Master's in Reading and now teach Reading Sufficiency in the Elementary. I have been married to Stacey for 31 years, and we have 2 children, Torey and Trenton.
