ACT Policy & Information

According to Section 1111(b)(2)(H) of ESSA, Welch community stakeholders and families are asked to give their input in regards to our school's choosing the ACT as our high school's state testing choice. Please send Mr. Haskell an email if you have any questions about the ACT or if you would prefer our high school to use the SAT as our school's testing choice. Please note Welch Public School has selected to administer the ACT to all 11th graders for the 2019-2020 school year state testing window.  This selection will meet the state and federal requirements for College and Career Readiness Assessment in Math and ELA testing.  The students will be working with ACT test pep on a weekly basis during ENCORE to help prepare for testing. Students will also receive ACT test prep in their regular classrooms as part of their daily work/education.  For more information, questions, or comments regarding the testing, contact Kent Haskell, Principal in the High School Office at (918)788-3129 or email: khaskell@welchwildcats.net.
