Weather Update ❄️
Due to forecasted winter weather and out of an abundance of caution, Welch Public Schools will have early release on Friday, Jan 23. School and buses will be dismissed at 1:30pm. NEO Basketball Tournament is cancelled for Friday and Saturday. The 5/6th Grade Regional Quiz Bowl is rescheduled for Feb 7
We are closely monitoring the forecasted winter weather expected later this week.
At this time, there is a possibility of an early release on Friday and a potential virtual learning day on Monday, depending on weather and road conditions.
No decisions have been made yet. We wanted to provide families with advance notice so you can begin planning.
We will communicate any official decisions as soon as possible through our usual channels. Thank you for your patience and support as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff.
We are in communication with NEO on the Bsk Tournament. So far brackets have no changes but again a very fluid situation. We will keep you updated.
