On Monday a few of the 10th - 12th graders went to Bluejacket for a Safe Driving Presentation presented by OHP and the Department of Transportation. The students took turns driving a UTV with the special impaired goggles to see if they could make it through the course. They were able to try a few tasks with the special goggles on like walking a straight line and playing catch. The last station showed what happens when a vehicle rolls over with and without a seatbelt.
Welch Board Approved 2024-2025 School Year Calendar
Three young men competed at the Regional Powerlifting Meet in Chandler today. Bryan Le qualified for state with his 3rd place finish in the 145 lb class! Chade Morgan and Timmy Bidwell also represented Welch well.

Tonight's home baseball game vs Ketchum has been changed to a V and JV game. They double booked their JH, so their JH will not be coming to Welch. The start time for the Varsity game has been moved to 4:30pm.
Tuesday's game at Foyil is still set for a JH and a V game, with the JH game starting at 4pm. However, the JH game will be a 7, 8, and 9th grade game, rather than the normal 6, 7, 8th format due to a shortage of players this week.
