Copan's QB Club will be grilling burgers, have chips and drinks to sell for fans. It is also asking for admission donations at the gate for a fundraiser. Admission is not required, but their coach asked me to pass along the information.

Construction begins with a strong foundation! The concrete is poured for our safe room and today was the gym area. Yes that's water but purposely applied to aid the curing process with this heat. Next week the masonry contractor begins the safe room construction.

The first day of school is almost here! Below is the procedure for Elementary (Pre-K through 6th Grade) drop off and pick up. We will continue with the same procedure we used at the end of last school year. We need to keep the area around the Old Gym open for the crews that will be working there throughout the year, so the circle drive will be closed due to construction.
1. Parent pick up and drop off by vehicle is in the area between buildings in front of the Wildcat Gymnasium. Please pull into the west entrance of the HS parking lot and proceed south to the gym entrance. Employees will be there to assist your child.
2. Please do not line up for parent pick-up until 2:45 pm. Vehicles will not be allowed to enter the parking lot until this time because of students walking to and from classes. At 2:50 pm, we will begin directing vehicles to enter through the west HS parking lot to the gym lobby to pick up students. We will then ask that you follow the U formation and proceed to exit out the east HS parking entrance.
3. The parent pick up/ drop off line will be formed on Curtis Street turning onto West 6th Ave. Please be mindful of residents and their yards. Please stay on the pavement.
High School students will park in the gravel parking lot on the south side east of the High School.
