Here are the athletic events for this week.
Class of 2024, you may pick up your diplomas, transcripts, and Chromebooks from the High School office. The office will be open Monday - Thursday 8:30 am-3:00 pm.
Also, Class of 2024 you will have access to your school email account until June 30, 2024. As of July 1st, your school account will be deactivated.
High School Boys Athletic Events for the rest of this week:
HS Basketball-Wednesday, June 5th. Summer League at Baxter. Be at our gym at 10:30 a.m. Games are at 12 & 1 p.m.
HS Football-Thursday, June 6th. Passing League at Grove. Be at our field house at 4:45 p.m. Games start at 6 p.m.
The Junior High Boys basketball summer league at Afton flopped. There will be no summer league games for middle school boys basketball.
Reminder: Summer Pride starts tomorrow, June 3rd, at 8:00 a.m. for athletes going into grades 6-12. We'll start in the field house.

7th - 12th Grade will turn in their Chromebooks, Chromebook Chargers, and ID Badge tomorrow May 16, 2024. Seniors will get their Chromebooks back when they come to pick up their diplomas in June. The rest will be handed back out next school year.
Reminder: Sports Physicals will be held Tuesday, May 21st, at 8:30 a.m. in our gym. The cost is $10. This is for athletes going into 6th-12th grades. Please bring back completed paperwork that was sent home last week.

The Health Department will giving free tetanus shots tomorrow May 9th 10a to 12p at the Welch Civic Center for anyone who assisted with any debris cleanup throughout the community.
Parents/Guardians, We will resume school tomorrow, May 9. We do have several adjustments that we need all elementary parents/guardians to follow. Parent Pick up and drop off by vehicle has been moved to the lobby of the Wildcat Gymnasium. Please pull in the west entrance of the HS parking lot and proceed south to the gym entrance. Employees will be there to assist your child as normal. Please do NOT line up for parent pick until 2:45 PM. Vehicles will NOT be allowed to enter the parking lot until this time because of students walking to and from classes. At 2:50, we will begin directing vehicles to enter through the west HS parking lot entrance to the Wildcat Gymnasium lobby to pick up students. We then ask that you follow the U formation and proceed to exit out the east HS parking lot entrance. (see map) The parent pick up/drop off line will be formed on Curtis Street turning onto West 6th Ave. Please be mindful of residents and their yards. Please stay on the pavement. Elementary students arriving after the 8:00 bell and leaving before school is dismissed should enter through the HS west entrance and then park in the parking spots facing north and south between buildings. You may go to the north doors and ring the buzzer. We will have the check out table located at this door. Buses will be unloading in the HS student parking lot located east of the Wildcat Gymnasium. MS and HS students/parents will follow normal procedures. HS students will park in the football/basketball parking lot east of Wildcat Gymnasium. Thank you for your help in making these adjustments to finish out the school year. We appreciate everyone's help in following these procedures.
Hello Wildcats, Welch PS will be in session tomorrow, May 9th. We look forward seeing the students to finish the year strong. Principal's will be posting maps with new drop off and pickup procedures as they have changed due to gym damage and contractors onsite. Thank you

Due to damage to the campus and the power outage from last night's severe weather all sites of Welch Public School will be closed Tuesday May 7th.
