Cherokee Nation Public Health will be at Welch Public Schools on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 9 am to 11 am to provide Flu vaccines at no cost to participants. Consent forms MUST be completed and signed for CNPH to provide the vaccination.
If the participant is a minor, a parent or guardian MUST designate on the CNPH registration and consent form if the minor can be vaccinated with or without your presence.

Welch Public Schools is proud to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of the Local Food for Schools Program Grant, provided by the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry (ODAFF). 🥩🥕
This grant will allow our district to purchase locally sourced beef products and fresh vegetables from ODAFF-approved vendors. By participating in this program, Welch Public Schools will continue supporting Oklahoma farmers while providing our students with nutritious, high-quality meals. 💚

Welch FCA had a great turnout for See You At The Pole this morning! 34 students and several staff members. Thank you to the Welch Christian Church for the donuts and water!
The Welch FCA will host our See You At The Pole tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM in front of the high school. If it is raining, the event will be moved to the gym.

High School Softball Districts this week!
Sweet Science in 5th Grade!
Our 5th graders became scientists with a tasty twist! They made a “candy salad” to learn how mixtures can be taken apart because each piece keeps its own properties (and flavor!). Then, they discussed mixing drink powder into water and discovered that solutions are trickier—you can’t just pull them apart without changing them. Science has never been so sweet!

Softball Update: We are scheduled to play two middle school softball games tomorrow, September 18th, versus Fairland starting at 4:30 PM in Welch. We will have a five-inning game and a three-inning game. There will be no high school game. This was a make-up game from September 2nd.
Tomorrow is Wildcat Wednesday!
The Spirit Store will be open at afternoon recess for elementary students on 9/17/25
Parent/Teacher conferences are Tuesday September 16th and Thursday September 18th from 4pm-7pm. There will be no school Friday September 19th.
