Cherokee Nation Public Health will be at Welch Public Schools on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 9 am to 11 am to provide Flu vaccines at no cost to participants. Consent forms MUST be completed and signed for CNPH to provide the vaccination.
If the participant is a minor, a parent or guardian MUST designate on the CNPH registration and consent form if the minor can be vaccinated with or without your presence.
Consent forms will be available in your school office.

On October 2nd the TSA LEAD Conference was held at Pryor Mid America Industrial Park. Students and schools from all over Eastern Oklahoma attended to gain leadership skills and get updates on TSA events for the 2025-26 school year. They competed in a Mechanical Engineering and Promotional Design competition while there. Welch placed 1st in the Promotional Design competition. Pryor will host the first TSA Mini Conference Oct. 22 at the same location. Events will include Problem Solving, Leadership Challenge, Creed, Extemporaneous Speech, and testing events.

Welch Public Schools is proud to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of the Local Food for Schools Program Grant, provided by the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry (ODAFF). 🥩🥕
This grant will allow our district to purchase locally sourced beef products and fresh vegetables from ODAFF-approved vendors. By participating in this program, Welch Public Schools will continue supporting Oklahoma farmers while providing our students with nutritious, high-quality meals. 💚
