High School Softball Districts this week!
Sweet Science in 5th Grade!
Our 5th graders became scientists with a tasty twist! They made a “candy salad” to learn how mixtures can be taken apart because each piece keeps its own properties (and flavor!). Then, they discussed mixing drink powder into water and discovered that solutions are trickier—you can’t just pull them apart without changing them. Science has never been so sweet!

Softball Update: We are scheduled to play two middle school softball games tomorrow, September 18th, versus Fairland starting at 4:30 PM in Welch. We will have a five-inning game and a three-inning game. There will be no high school game. This was a make-up game from September 2nd.

Cherokee Nation Public Health will be at Welch Public Schools on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 9 am to 11 am to provide Flu vaccines at no cost to participants. Consent forms MUST be completed and signed for CNPH to provide the vaccination.
If the participant is a minor, a parent or guardian MUST designate on the CNPH registration and consent form if the minor can be vaccinated with or without your presence.
